DESCRIPTION:Lunch and Learn in February is not one you want to miss! Come out to D.W. Wilson Community Center and meet Mrs. Vallie Collins\, passenger aboard the ill-fated flight 1549 that took off from LaGuardia Airport on January 15\, 2009 and struck a flock of Canadian Geese. Six minutes later\, passengers were bracing for impact in the icy Hudson River. The story was later made into a movie titled "Sully: Miracle on the Hudson"\, starring Tom Hanks. Mrs. Collins will be telling the story from her perspective as a passenger and some motivational life lessons learned in the event. \n\n\n\nLunch will begin at 11:30am with the program to begin at noon\, and will last until about 1pm. The cost is $8.75 to attend and includes lunch and the program. Reservations are required\, as this will likely be a capacity crowd. Call 455-1121 to reserve your seat today!
