DESCRIPTION:** Registrations after Noon on 12/2/24 must register in person at the Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce located at 135 West Lincoln St. Tullahoma **\n\n\n\nThe 68th Annual Tullahoma Christmas Parade presented by the Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Stan McNabb Automotive will be held on Friday\, December 6th at 7:00 PM. \n\n \n2024 Tullahoma Christmas Parade Friday\, December 6th\, 7:00 pm. \n\nThe parade is hosted by the Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce \n\nand sponsored by Stan McNabb Automotive \n \n\n2024 Parade Theme "Planes\, Trains\, and Candy Canes." Your entry should reflect the theme of the parade.\n\nRegistration Deadline: Monday\, December 2nd\, 2024 \n\nParade Packets will be ready for pick up Monday\, Dec. 2nd - Friday\, Dec. 6th from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. If you aren't able to pick up your parade packet during the week\, please come to Parade Command as you will need your lineup numbers accessible to view for our media partners. \n\nParade Route The parade will begin at the Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce and end at Tullahoma High School. \n\nParade Lineup The parade will line up between the Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce office and South Jackson Performing Arts Center. \n\nStaging Area Beginning in December 2024\, the parade staging area will begin with float number one at the Tullahoma Chamber Office with the last float ending at the 7/11 Convenience store. Floats will line both sides of the street and will be numbered to locate your parking spot. \n\nLine-up numbers will be set up the day before the event to allow time to locate your space and be best prepared to find your space in a safe and timely manner. \n\n \n\nRoute Beginning at the Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce and ending at Tullahoma High School. \n\n \n\nFloat judging is 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. If your float is not in its assigned position by 5:30 p.m.\,\n\nit will not be judged.\n\n \n\nEntry Arrival Cut-off 6:30 p.m. No vehicles will be allowed in the staging area after 6:30 p.m.\n \n\nParticipant Pickup Point is at Tullahoma High School The Parade committee is not responsible for participants. Ensure that all participants have drop-off and pickup information.\n\n \n\nThe Parade Command Center will be located at Harton Realty. If you can't pick up your parade packet during the week\, please come to Parade Command as you will need your lineup numbers accessible to view for our media partners. \n\n \n\nParade Start Time The parade begins at 7:00 p.m.\n \n\nLineup Number You will receive two copies of your lineup number. The lineup number is for news media identification purposes and must remain on the vehicle during the parade.\n\nOnce your entry is in position at the parade\, attach your lineup numbers on both sides of the front windshield. For walking groups\, a person in the front left and right should be holding a lineup number. \n\nAward Winners If your entry wins\, we will present your entry with your prize at the December Chamber Coffee hosted at Lakewood Golf & Country Club on Tuesday\, December 17th beginning at 11 am. There we will present you with your award and take a photo. Seating is limited\, so please plan accordingly. If you are unable to join us\, please make plans to receive your prize at the Tullahoma Chamber office. \n\nIf there are ANY changes to your entry\, please notify the Chamber (931) 455-5497 ASAP.\n\nParade Contact: If you have an emergency\, question\, issue\, etc. before the parade starts or during the parade\, please call Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Hope Nunley at (931) 409-0076.\n\n\n\nParade Rules\n\n1. The parade is a RAIN or SHINE event. Due to the nature of the event\, there will be no refunds.\n\n2. No entry is permitted to have a Santa Claus character or anything similar. Please allow the excitement and anticipation of the arrival of Santa Claus to occur at the end of the parade.\n\n3. Floats and vehicles may not exceed a 14 ft height or a combined 130 ft length. It is very important to measure your parade float or entry and report the figure accurately so an accurate amount of space will be prepared for you at the lineup. \n\n4. Report the number of vehicles. You must report the number of vehicles\, motorcycles\, scooters\, ATVs\, etc. to the Tullahoma Chamber staff so an accurate amount of space will be prepared for you in the lineup. \n\n5. Report the number in your walking group. You must report the number of people in your walking group to the Tullahoma Chamber staff so an accurate amount of space will be prepared for you in the lineup. Walking groups should be dressed festively or pertaining to the float theme.\n\n6. Constant forward motion of the parade lineup must be maintained at an even rate of pace to prevent gaps and ensure that we have a parade that is fun to watch. \n\n7. No one is permitted to get on or off a float or any moving entry during the parade. To be clear\, walkers who begin walking should walk the entire parade route and riders should ride the entire parade route. Please plan accordingly. Safety is our highest priority. \n\n8. If your entry is being judged\, you must be in place by 5:30 p.m. \n\n9. All entries must be parked in the lineup no later than 6:30 p.m. if your entry is not being judged. \n\n10. No vehicles will be allowed in the staging area after 6:30 p.m.\n\n11 All children participating in the parade must be supervised by an adult at all time\n\n12. You will be given two parade line-up numbers. Lineup numbers must be placed on the left and right of the front windshield to assist the news media with identifying your entry. Marching bands and walking units should designate an individual to wear or hold the lineup number. \n\n13. You may safely distribute candy to parade participants. We require that you hand candy to the crowd utilizing walkers that are going to the crowds. It is unsafe and against parade guidelines to throw anything from the float. Safety is the absolute priority. Please\, let's all have a good time\, but stay aware of people at all times.\n\n14. All entries are expected to adhere to the theme and reflect the holiday and community spirit. The Parade Committee reserves the right to deny participation in the parade to registered entries\, not in compliance with this rule.\n\n15. All parade entrants must pick up a Parade Packet between Monday\, Dec. 2nd - Friday\, Dec. 6th from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Chamber located at 135 W. Lincoln St. You will receive your lineup instructions\, your entry number\, and other vital information. \n\n16. Entries will not receive Parade Packet & lineup number until payment is received.\n\n17. Entries should be designed to withstand any weather conditions.\n\n18. All entrants must supply their vehicles and signage.\n\n19. Trailers must be attached to tow vehicles with safety chains. Generators and exhaust systems must be vented away from participants riding on floats.\n\n20. Smoking or VAPING is NOT permitted at any time.\n\n21. Participants cannot be under the influence of alcohol\, drugs\, or any illegal substance. Participants cannot be under the influence of any prescribed medication that could impair driving.\n\n21. No fire\, no firearms or discharging of firearms\, or pyrotechnics of any kind are allowed.\n\n\n\n22.
