DESCRIPTION:The 67th Annual Tullahoma Christmas Parade presented by the Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Stan McNabb Automotive will be held on Friday\, December 1st at 7:00 PM. \n\n \n2023 Christmas Parade Rules and Regulations\n\nFriday\, December 1 at 7:00 p.m.\n\nYour Parade Packet must be picked up between Nov. 27th Dec. 1st - Your entry should reflect the theme of WINTER WONDERLAND! ***NEW***NEW***NEW*** THE PARADE LINE UP WILL BEGIN AT TULLAHOMA HIGH SCHOOL and will END AT SOUTH JACKSON PERFORMING ARTS CENTER! \n\n1. Constant forward motion of the parade lineup must be maintained at an even rate to prevent gaps.\n\n2. YOU MAY SAFELY DISTRIBUTE CANDY to parade participants. You may hand candy to the crowd\, but you must have walkers that are going to the crowds\, not throwing anything from the float. Safety is the absolute priority. Please\, let's all have a good time\, but stay aware of children at all times. \n\n3. All entries are expected to adhere to the theme and reflect holiday and community spirit. The Parade Committee reserves the right to deny participation in the parade to registered entries not in compliance with this rule.\n\n4. No entry is permitted to have a Santa Claus character or anything similar. Please allow the excitement and anticipation of the arrival of Santa Claus to occur at the end of the parade.\n\n5. All parade entrants must pick up a Parade Packet between Nov. 27th Dec. 1st 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Chamber located at 135 W. Lincoln St. You will receive your lineup instructions\, two copies of your entry number\, and other vital information. \n\n6. Entries will not receive Parade Packet & lineup number until payment is received.\n\n7. The parade is a RAIN or SHINE event. No refunds.\n\n8. Lineup numbers must be placed on right of the front windshield to assist the news media with identifying your entry. Marching bands and walking units must carry lineup numbers at the beginning of entry.\n\n9. No one is permitted to get on or off a float or any moving entry during the parade.\n\n10. If your entry is being judged\, you must be in place by 5:30 p.m. All entries must be parked in the lineup no later than 6:30 p.m. if you are not being judged. No vehicles will be allowed in the staging area after 6:30 p.m.\n\n11. All children participating in the parade must be supervised by an adult at all times.\n\n12. Entries should be designed to withstand any weather conditions.\n\n13. All entrants must supply their own vehicle and signage.\n\n14. Floats and vehicles may not exceed a 14 ft height or combined 130 ft length.\n\n15. Walking groups must be dressed pertaining to the float theme.\n\n16. Trailers must be attached to tow vehicles with safety chains. Generators and exhaust systems must be vented away from participants riding on floats.\n\n17. Participants cannot be under the influence of alcohol\, drugs\, or illegal substances.\n\n18. Smoking or VAPING are NOT permitted at any time.\n\n19. No fire\, no firearms or discharging of firearms\, or pyrotechnics of any kind are allowed.\n20. A copy of these rules and regulations will be printed and given to each float. \n\n \nStaging Area: Tullahoma High School & N. Jackson Street\n \n\nRoute: Tullahoma High School to South Jackson Performing Arts Center\n \n\nFloat judging: 5:30 p.m. If your float is not in its assigned position by 5:30 p.m.\, it will not be judged.\n \n\nEntry Arrival Cut-off: 6:30 p.m.\n\nParticipant Drop-off Point: Tullahoma High School No vehicles other than parade entries will be allowed in the staging area after 5:00 p.m.\n\nParticipant Pickup Point: South Jackson Performing Arts Center The Parade committee is not responsible for participants. Ensure that all participants have drop-off and pickup information.\n \n\nParade Command Center: Tullahoma High School & Coffee County Bank\n \n\nParade Start Time: 7:00 p.m.\n\n \n\nLineup Number: You have received one copy of your lineup number. The lineup number is for news media identification purposes and must remain on the vehicle during the parade.\n\nOnce your entry is in position at the parade\, attach your lineup numbers on both sides of the front windshield. For walking groups\, a person in the front left and right should be holding a lineup number. \n\nFacing South\, numbers 1-45 will line up on the left side of North Jackson Street\, and numbers 45-100 will line up on the right side.
