In December, come meet Professor Billy Hix and learn a little bit about what’s going on above you! You’ll hear about the night sky that time of year, the upcoming 50th anniversary of the first moon landing a little about the cosmic connection for us all, and about some of the people in astronomy’s past that could have been left behind if it were not for a special person! Who is that? Come to the event and find out!
This will be a precursor to our Gemenid Metoer Star Party scheduled for Dec 14th. You'll also hear about some of the things we might see at the star party. You don't want to miss it!
