FREE ADMISSION - The 5th Annual Festival will feature a gathering of the clans, Highland and Celtic entertainment: bagpipers, bands, dancers, vendors and our featured band is “Scotland Rising”, they are NOT your granddad’s pipe band! The Celebration will be held on April 8, 2017, at The Celtic Cup Coffee House in Tullahoma, TN. Opening ceremonies will feature our Kilted Honor Guard and Tullahoma A Capella singers and will commence at 9 am. Pipers, Bands and Dancers begin on The Green at 10 am and continue non-stop until 6pm. You will see highland dancers from the Sinclair School of Highland Dance and Triquetra, Irish step dancers. Also on the soundstage will be Black Market Haggis, along with The Secret Commonwealth and The Get Reels.
Demonstrations will include: Knitting, weaving, and spinning yarn. Workshops will include genealogy 101, bodhran (Celtic drum) tipping and Celtic knot bracelets. Returning vendors include: The Celtic Saucer (with yummy Celtic food to savor), Little Bits and Bobs, Knights & Tails, Our Hearts Desire, The Crafty Kimmers, Solid Rock Jewelry, Fleece on The Duck, Grumpy Goat, and cookbooks by the Highland Rim Scottish Society. New vendors this year are Knight of the Forest, TN Mystic Gifts, AuraGanic, Pillars of Light, CU Coppers, Gallman Art, Turner Works, Woodcarvings & more, Grey Hare Designs, Dangles for Doggies, Deez Nuts, and A Bead & and A Prayer. Our Welcome Booth will have Event t-shirts for sale and you can register for hourly Door Prizes.
